An annual boiler service should only ever by carried out by a registered Gas Safe engineer, whilst it is not mandatory like the  Landlords Gas Safety Inspection (CP12) it is essential in preventing  unnecessary and costly breakdowns.

An annual service ensures the boiler is running at its optimum efficiency (saving you money in the long run) it ensures the appliance is running as cost efficient as possible but more importantly it is safe for operation in your home.

A standard service takes between 30 and 60 minutes to complete. During the service the boiler casing will be removed to clean the internal parts, a visual inspection takes place of all parts including the burner, injector and spark probe to check for leaks and corrosion. A flue gas analysis will take place and the flame checked. All certificates are completed electronically so will be emailed upon completion.

If you have a new boiler the service must be completed on the anniversary of the installation to validate the manufactures warranty. In all other instances we recommend you schedule your boiler service during the Summer months to prepare for the cold winter.
